Contest Rules

1. Dates/Terms/Eligibility: 

The “Recruiting Makeover” contest officially begins on April 2, 2009 and will end on June 12, 2009. Any changes to start date, end date or rules and regulations will be posted on the official contest site (www.recruitingmakeover.com) and emailed to all contest participants. The contest is open to all legal United States and Canadian residents, 18 years of age and older, residing in the United States or Canada. Participant must actively work in the third party recruiting or staffing industry with final eligibility determined by the "Recruiting Makeover" sponsors. There is no purchase necessary to enter or to win. One entry from an individual or business or persons within or employed by a business will be accepted. Employees or agents of any sponsor companies, as well as members of the same household or an agent or employee, may not participate.

2. Prize:

The approximate retail value of the ‘Prize’ is $50,000.00 USD. There is a total of 1 (one) prize to be won. Participants may enter by registering their company online at www.recruitingmakeover.com.  All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges. The panel will consist of members of each of the 7 sponsors. The odds of winning the Prize will depend on the number of total entries received. Only one Winner will be selected. Winners of the Contest are not eligible to win another Prize with the “Recruiting Makeover” until exactly one year (365 days) from the date won. All sales, prize and other taxes, gratuities and any other incidentals associated with the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner. The Prize is nontransferable or exchangeable and may not be substituted, except by sponsors for reasons of unavailability. In which case, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. The sponsors assume no responsibility or liability for damages, loss, or injury resulting from acceptance or use of the prize. The sponsors are not responsible for replacing the Prize under any circumstances.

3. Conditions/Restrictions: 

In order to be declared a ‘Winner’, the selected participant will be required to 1) enter the “Recruiting Makeover” contest 2) fill out the required entry form.   The winner must sign release to be used in publicity campaigns created by “Recruiting Makeover” and it’s sponsors. The winner will be responsible for any additional taxes or fees that result from the receipt and/or use of their prize. The Contest is void where prohibited by law. Anyone using fraudulent means to participate and/or win the Contest will be disqualified.

4. Conditions/Restrictions: 

The "Recruiting Makeover" sponsors are not responsible for errors, problems or delays that prevent enter into the contest via internet on www.recruitingmakeover.com. Decisions of the sponsor judges are final. All entries will be private, confidential and exclusively owned by the sponsors. Each supplier, Buzz Recruiter, Broadlook, Careerbuilder, Employment Marketplace, SGA Executive Tracker, Sendouts, TFI Resources and Good as Gold will be listed.

5. Release and Indemnification: 

In exchange for the right to participate in the Contest, each participant agrees to release and indemnify the companies Broadlook, Buzz Recruiter, Careerbuilder, Employment Marketplace, SGA Executive Tracker, Sendouts, TFI Resources and Good as Gold and its officers, directors, agents, parent companies, subsidiaries and employees (the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that arise out of the participant's participation in the Contest.

6. Rules: 

Any violation of these rules will result in disqualification. Copies of these rules are available on the “Recruiting Makeover” website (www.recruitingmakeover.com) or by sending a request, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, to this address.
